Big kudos out to you Gloria and thanks for presenting our (TheFunkcenter) t-shirt to Cynthia Robinson, original members( Trumpet & Vocalist) of "Sly and the Family Stone" who received a shirt to be delivery to Sylvester "Sly" Stone, who could not make the trip this year.
The original members of the band autographed their name on our t-shirt, that will be delivered back to TheFunkcenter for display. "We are keeping Funk alive for the new Generation of children"

The Miami Valley Science and Engineering Fair was held on March 21, 2015 at Central State University.
Major Chris Woods of The United States Air Force and David R Webb, President/CEO of The Funk Music Hall of Fame & Exhibition Center were guest judges. Mr Webb and Mr Woods took time to give back to the youth of our community. As judges they wanted to see what young people were doing in the community and around the state of Ohio. Webb said, "this is a great opportunity for young people to show creativity, self discipline and the skills necessary to Become future leaders of science, technologies & Engineering and meet challenging endeavours of life."
