We Are Funk Family Strong!! Greetings Funk Family, I’m David R. Webb CEO/President of The Funk Music Hall of Fame & Exhibition Center, (The Funk Center). I just wanted to shed light and encourage everyone to please take care of yourself during this critical time.
The Coronavirus or COVID-19 is not just local but now a global epidemic that has impacted us all. We here at TheFunkCenter strongly recommend that everyone please familiarize yourselves and others with the COVID-19 Health Guidelines.
According to health experts, by practicing social distancing, avoiding crowds, frequent hand washing, sterilizing surfaces, keeping at least six feet away from others and staying indoors as an option can help in the prevention of spreading the virus. In addition, it is very important to contact your health care provider if you are at risk or may have been exposed to this serious disease.
With your support, we can all help to raise awareness and the importance of promoting health, wellness peace and global unity. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, we respectfully ask for everyone to also unite in peace and prayer.
Most importantly, as a proud Funkateer, I sincerely encourage everyone to take some time out to listen, dance and be inspired by some amazing legends of funk music!!
